Well, as some of you know I went through a big situation over a girl and church. I was asked to leave the high school youth staff and not to contact the girl and all that. Long story that I'm not going into again. Well I'm now dating te girl, with the approval of her parents(her dad is one of the people that had a problem with our feelings for each other). Today the youth director calls me for lunch. We go out and he pays, which means it's church business.
They realized that be kicking me off staff they lost a lot of leadership and they've asked me to come back to lead the jr. high. I don't know if I'm gonna do it though. Personally I think it's kinda funny in "serves you right for kicking me out for a petty reason" reason kind of way.
I went through a lot of crap, lost my girl, lost friends, and lost my job. And now I have my girl and they want to give me job at the church back. Good times.

Nice things are working out for you, but I don't think I would be able to go back and subject myself to seeing it all happen again on another issue in the future. They seemed to show their true colors over that situation, and trust ins't something that can be thrown to the wind and recaptured easily.

Forgive them, but don't go back unless they offer public-ish apologies. Taking the high road is useless if it only leads in circles.
